Imagine a task completion system that we are all employed by. We are all employed by the same system. Government and corporations lose their idol worship status and fuse together as functional tools to be used by everyone. In such a system we are all employed to complete tasks for the mutual benefit of everyone.
One of those tasks is Public Information Dissemination or Journalism. Journalism in this system is a task available to everyone. Public information can originate and disseminate from local points of origin. After taking a course to help one understand what is and is not public information anyone can then complete the task of Journalism or Public Information Dissemination for Credit.
We can then develop systems for fact checking. Someone could immediately have the ability to earn Credit by checking the claims made by the first person. A fact checking chain of tasks can emerge from a single event. A public event occurs, someone takes it upon themselves to record the event, they are Credited for recording the event and making it public, then other people in the information chain are given the available task of corroborating the story or Bearing Witness to an ongoing event for Credit.
